First, Azzo never appeared to sell me the items that the HUD said he was selling. I could live with that, items were probably not anything especially useful.

Second, the eight Durgan ingots were not in the mine cart. I oould have used more Durgan enhanced items, but no a major setback.

Lastly, Pelgen's note never appear in quest inventory, negating any chance of finishing Concelhaut quest. This is the bug that killed the game.

Fortunately, I bought from GOG at discount.

I was going to buy the POE2, but not after this mess.

Azzuro's items are placed in your treasury chest in the stronghold. He doesn't need to show up in person. If you buy them from the stronghold-event UI they will be there.

You need a high mechanics value to discover the durgan ingots in the crate AND you have to melt the dwarf in the ice first.

Pelden's note might be a bug. But it might also be that you missed something. Putting the note into your inventory is not enough, you have to take it and read it.

So all in all it wasn't such a big mess, was it?

Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods

The Concelhaut notes drove me mad when I first did it, because three of the notes all look the same, and one randomly looks different, so I kept looking for it in my inventory and not noticing it among all the other books and notes I had since it didn't match. Could easily be that.
