[Class Build] Heart Melting Vocalist

I’m glad to introduce you to Fredo Mercuro, a magical singer.

A very surprising ( for me) strong wizard.

The chant part is quite similar of my precedent build  (I love the spark side of skald, not so fan of summoning or paralysed aoe)

Spell shaping is great in this build, thks obsidian for this upgrade in the middle of my run . In this particular build there is a lot of aoe, perfect to test this new feature.

Race:
Pale elf ( what you want, but I like PER and +4AR fire/ice)
Attributes:
MIG: 18 +2 BB = 20
CON: 3 + 2BB = 5
DEX: 13+ 1elf + 2 BB = 16
PER: 18 +1elf + 1 Back ground + 2 BB = 22
INT: 18+ 2 BB = 20
RES: 5+2 BB = 7

(if you take more stat grom cauldron/effigies ... go to PER, it's your best friend
Weapon Mod :

Medium Shield ( very cool mod)
Flail ( Low reflex is a must for this build)
(morning star / club, always take , -25 will / -25 Fortitude can be usefull fo futur)

Gears:
Armor: Deltro's Cage (early game) / Nomad's Brigandine (for more def late game)
Weapons : Sun and Moon + Nerian's Ward ( very nice survival with Father's Masterwork enchant + modal )

Sun and moon modal low reflex ( good for the 2 aoe in the build)
Sun and moon fight the day mostly and night for fire dragon
Sun and moon is legendary and can be buy direclty after Port Maje

Ring 1: Ring of Focused Flame/ Kuaru's Prize
Hands: Woedica's Strangling Grasp ( Gauntlets of Accuracy can be better, accuracy is the best, i dont find any of them in this run )

Boots: Footprints of Ahu Taka(annoying ... reset all point to get 15 in athletics...) / Boots of the Stone is a good option.

 Lvl 19-20 if you have some nice advice not so sure fore empower ability, don’t really use empower ( maybe big mistake, but keep it to recover more ability sounds good.

 PROs :

-Few consumable. big fight you can use scroll meteor shower / potion accuracy (Deftness / Perfect Aim) + Heal potion.

-Nice wiz def + chant perma heal ( with int buff you are near troub phrase persistence)

-good aoe dps and with the 3.1 patch you can concentrate aoe to have 1 PL free or extend to hit more foe. But most important, in term of feeling it’s very nice. Before that patch, launch a big aoe on 1 guy was a bit frustrating for me.

-Versatility, just look lowest def and hit on that.

-Lot of CW trigger and nice heal

CONS :

CW dependent, if you fail to hit boss with, it can be a long fight. (maybe one hit with morning star modal -25 fortitude can help, but can be a little bit risky + time switch/hit/switch)

Playstyle :

It’s basically a Combusting wounds wizard + chant lightning to trigger wounds.

fog / wall of flame / CW go shock all

you can also use slicken, i start fampyr with it, dont know if fog be better but always fun to see great vampire tumble onto the floor.

It’s just fun , strong, nice aoe, melt every thing.  Solid but not godlike, so you don’t lose fun to fight. When you die, retry with better position / spell strategies and win !

It’s kind of magic

PS : I do the all game solo with this guy, but don’t try dlc. So maybe not enough strong to very big encounter. I’ll try and come back to update.
