October 12, 20187 yr This is the reason why I stopped using Ciphers - or the soulbound rod that turned enemies into allies - in PoE 1. They'd sometimes make fights actually harder by doing nothing but ultimately giving enemies my buffs. So is this still the case in PoE 2?
October 12, 20187 yr Yes. You have to be careful with buffs. But it can also be abused, my favourite combo in early game is whisper of treason + withdraw just before they revert; good riddance for a long, long time.
