Hi, so I started the second tier Hunts and I am trying to complete The Surviving Face's Hunt for the Uncut Gem. The item is in Poko Kohara Ruins, next to Oasis tree (southeast section), however, once I pick it up, the quest does not update. If I go to The Crucible, I can put the item in the pool, however the quest still does not update.

I have created a bug report for this issue so that the QA and Area Design teams can investigate the issue.  Would you happen to have a save file from before and a file after this has occurred?  This could help the team reproduce the issue for a fix if they are unable to reproduce this on their saves in house.  You can either provide a link to your files via Dropbox or you may attach them to an email for us at support@obsidian.net. Hi, sorry, I have just seen this reply - unfortunately this issue was my mistake, I picked up the Gem before actually getting the quest (I was actually having the Woedica finger quest).
