Another Black Screen on Lauch

Ever since my laptop force updated to the windows 10 creator update, every time I load the game I'm greeted simply with a black screen, the game's gauntlet pointer, and the music.  That's it.  Switching to windowed mode doesn't help, and I've worked my way through all of the technical help suggested for Nvidia drivers and resolution issues.  So far, the only way I've managed to get the game to load, is to lower my system resolution to 1280x768, but raising the resolution results in the black screen again.  I've tried reinstalling the game, as well as resetting windows, and I've reinstalled my graphics drivers, and made sure everything is up to date.  Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear you are getting a black screen issue on higher resolutions.  I'll add your information to a bug report that was made for a couple of other users who have had this issue.  I did have one other user yesterday who had a radical fix that worked for him.  He said he did a full clean install of his Windows 10 operating system and that it fixed his black screen problems.  There is potential that the update didn't set up properly and that a clean install may work for you as well.  Regardless, the team is looking into the issue for folks where these solutions are not working.
