First off, what I really wanna play is a Shifter/Beckoner (because I love Druids, Chanters, shifting, and summoning), but since (1) Shifter was nerfed and (2) I can't "cast" Incantations when shifted, this is my next choice.

 

Plus, Druid and Chanter recommended attributes are almost identical, so that helps.

 

So basically, do you have any thoughts on this build (e.g., pros/cons, experiences you've had or seen)?

Chanter's Invocations don't profit from the +1 PEN and range of the Fury. And as far as I know they also don't profit from Scion of Flame etc. (because the Invocations don't have keywords like fire/freeze etc. - unless that got fixed with the latest patch).

 

Besides that the Chanter can be used to circumvent the fact that Furies can't heal.

So, not awesome, but not lousy either. That's good enough for me.
