I was exploring the Poko Kohara sandy areas when I stumbled upon the area with a campfire and a soul attached to the campfire.

 

I clicked on the soul, screen got a purple hue just like other soul interactions, but nothing else happened apart from that.

 

I think something is missing here. Anyone knows what is supposed to happen at that interaction?

Thank you for reporting this to us!  I tested this with your save and can confirm that this is indeed a bug.  I have created a bug report and attached your save for the Area Design team to investigate the issue and get a fix implemented.
