peardox Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 I'm working on ModClash ATM so discovered the following today Contrary to popular belief DebugName is NOT unique most interest For example Wild_Mind_Melee aa320ce2-ea32-47e1-885e-86c3e9eff3fa b84d1157-19fd-453a-8563-1cc25e414830 Those are both in attacks,gamedatabundle - diffo IDs bit the same DebugName There are a total of around 420 duplicated DebugName entries (2 to 4 times each) - i.e. maybe 1,500 dupes in total (420 x 3-ish) It should be noted that the DebugNames that are duplicated are low level attaches, this don't happen with Items or Lootlists so should be fairly harmless (I did notice a WorldMap dupe or two though) Dupes are only going to really involve the consoles as everything in-game uses ID and they ARE unique There are 209 datatypes and 267 componenttypes in 2.0.1 - not gonna bother with an exhaustive search. As Wild_Mind_Melee occurs at the start of my run I imagine that there are many similar clashes withing a datatype - not so bad in a componenttype OK Fair warning has been applied I'm gonna move the domain to https://perspak.com early Feb but will keep all content There are reasons behind this move which basically boil down to unifying my release schedule My friends are welcome to play (I'll set you up your own areas if you desire them) Please note that this process is messy so may take a few weeks
