Because this is the **** with my marauder. First of, the big polar bears, that hit me with 100 damage. Without my spirti storm, what makes them terrified and not be able to attack, i would just die, even nemnok's cloak, what nets me with ironskin 16 AR, does not help much. Then the hardest fight i have ever seen in the entire game as a melee class: That one vs. the drowned barbarians. They have barbarian retaliation and that hit me so often with 40 - 70 damage and i could not find a way around.

 

So, maybe deflection stack would do the trick? My def is only at 70, because i dumped it and i just did not need it in the vanilla game.

 

PS: For the barbarian fight, you could not smoke veil out, the fight just did not stop.
