In my current playthrough I had her empty the souls into the Adra in Hasango, the "good" choice and only the spell resistance option is available. Is it dependent on whether or not she turns to darkness?

    Yep, as far as I can tell.

    Yes. The adra fragment she recovers is dependent upon which method you choose to help her release the souls.
