Not sure if this is a bug or just strange AI behaviour. Any time my priest (Xoti) gets dominated her first action is to cast suppress affliction on herself, which removes the dominated affliction. I assume this would also be the case for charmed.

 

My guess is that charmed/dominated characters given one of the basic AI scripts, which for priests has one of its top priorities "has affliction -> cast suppress affliction".

That's definitely an interesting hypothesis. I'll have our developers look into this and see if this is intended behavior. If possible, could you provide us with your save file right before an encounter with a dominating enemy? If not, could you just send us your save file so that we may use your Xoti and look into her AI Behavior settings?

Will post my a save from the Fampyr Island when I get home, should be very easy to replicate there.

Here's my save. Just head to the Sea-Lashed Crypt, should be pretty easy to get her dominated in that fight.

 

I don't have her (or any of my casters) on a script, so the dominate is definitely applying one to her.
