So in Ashen Maw at the shrine to Magran, there is mention of "the Rathun gathered behind you" or something to that extent. This is shown even if you have slaughtered every last one on the map.

 

The final scene also makes mention to Rathun trying to escape the erupting volcano. This could make sense though as there are likely parts of the keep you don't get access to, and therefore may be some survivors.

Unfortunately this was a couple of days ago and didn't make a hard save beforehand. Only thought to post it as I was making some other posts. When my next playthrough reaches this point I will try to remember to upload a save.

Here's a save with all the Rathun dead, before my first interaction with the altar. Same dialogue as before.
