[1.2.2] Game always freezing when entering the Arena Sub-Level at the Digsite

Hello!

 

So far i am really enjoying the game but - damn it - i am stuck.

 

Whenever i enter the Arena Sub-Level from the Digsite the game loads & loads & loads but nothing happens after reaching a black screen where i can see only the mouse cursor. Even after ten minutes of waiting: Nothing more. I tried it a dozens times now always with the same result...

 

P.S. I never had loading problems before... any clues?
