Broken? Or any of these guys (in Collapsed Mine) has some ninja spell reflection?

And that Psychic Backlash on top of it, nasty!

 

EDIT: probably just reflected. It just happened to me again in another battle where a mage had reflect on. Nevertheless, perhaps bouncing spells could be a bit more clever and at least prefer targets that could be hit, given one can not control them, unlike single target or area AoE spells. Backlash as well could be more selective.
