I don't know if this issue has been addressed already but I wasn't able to find anything about it via the search function.

 

I went to the "Bent Bough Forest" on the 16th and was able to obtain the sword, as it should be. The problem is, that the location didn't disappear after I left so I thought I might have overlooked something, an enemy or somesuch and went back to the location (still on the 16th mind you) and the whole thing just repeated itself and I got a second Sanguine Greatsword.

 

Just out of curiosity I tried a third time and I got another one. So now I've got 3 Sanguine Greatswords (not that I've got more group members who'd be able to wield it).

 

Now, I really don't want to complain but I can't imagine that this is working as intended so I thought I'd mention it here.
