BUG - Ranger Ghost Heart Class - Companion AI lost on every summon

What is says in the title.

 

I'm a multiclass ranger character, with my subclass being the Ghost Heart.

 

My animal companion 'loses' its AI settings on every summon. Each time I summon it, I have to direct it immediately or it just stands around doing nothing. Turning the AI on has to be the first action I take after every summon.
