I decided this afternoon that I wanted to play Knights of the Old Republic again as I only played a light side character originally. I quickly loaded up the game and now I'm stuck here for the next three and a half hours as it downloads various patches. I understand that patches are an inevitable and, perhaps, necessary evil but I've already downloaded the patch and see no reason why I should have to wait a second time to do so. Therefore, I'd appreciate it if the patching file was treated like a saved character or game, you could choose to have it deleted or not when you uninstall the game.

That's it.

Thank you for your consideration.

I'm pretty sure you could have downloaded the patch, if you chose not to auto-update

PS: The ;) is for auto-updates.

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

I can and I am doing so right now for Knights of the Old Republic. It will be safely tucked away with the couple dozen patches I already possess for my computer games. I'm simply posting a suggestion as it comes to me and I enjoy the frustration of waiting. They could just get rid of auto-updates all together and that would be a different type of solution.
