May 20, 200421 yr I decided this afternoon that I wanted to play Knights of the Old Republic again as I only played a light side character originally. I quickly loaded up the game and now I'm stuck here for the next three and a half hours as it downloads various patches. I understand that patches are an inevitable and, perhaps, necessary evil but I've already downloaded the patch and see no reason why I should have to wait a second time to do so. Therefore, I'd appreciate it if the patching file was treated like a saved character or game, you could choose to have it deleted or not when you uninstall the game. That's it. May 20, 200421 yr Author I can and I am doing so right now for Knights of the Old Republic. It will be safely tucked away with the couple dozen patches I already possess for my computer games. I'm simply posting a suggestion as it comes to me and I enjoy the frustration of waiting. They could just get rid of auto-updates all together and that would be a different type of solution.
