So I'm just north of crookspur in the forest where there's a scripted event.

I let one of my companions speak for me, and I chose Pallegina.

 

Only problem is, it seems Xoti popped up from nowhere and gave the reply instead, even though she's not in the party.

For the record I had the same thing when I picked Serafen to do the talking. As you can see I didn't get a peaceful resolution, though I don't know if the Serafen choice would have succeeded without the bug.
