Looking for a way to change dialogue window height and adjusting layout

DIalogue window is too short with my bigger font, too much scrolling for my taste.

 

For layout, I want to widen battle log, and is there a way to move the bottom middle part (with buttons) away from it?

 

Which files are responsible for that? I'd like to search for that.
