[Steam] How to revert game version to 1.0 ?

Hi Im a backer and want to revert my game back to version 1.0.

 

Id hate it If I had to buy the GoG version without Season Pass, Scavanger Hunt items, Pre-order bonuses etc.

Unfortunately Steam can't do that, the updates are automatically installed (there was a lot of misinformation about this, years ago people thought you could stop the autoupdate but was just bad phrasing on valve's part) and you can't rollback builds.

 

The only way is for devs to upload different game builds on the beta branch but that's not really the intended use for that function.

 

Edit: You could ask to someone with 1.0.2 to give you the game files but any local cache check or game update you would need to copy those files again.
