I don't know what causes it but companions sometimes get a non-removable Slog Zone debuff while in non-slog zone area. It can only be removed by walking them through some slog zone again.

I haven't even used Konstanten in my party before that, but when I swapped him into the party he had this debuff. Maybe he got it in one of the ship combat battles?
