Is there any way to tweak the game so it doesn't auto-pause when minimized?

How about not pausing the ship-movement when I look at the map? Super annoying.

    Windowed mode

     

    Windowed mode is screwy for me.. It's offset from the monitor like 1/2-inch to the left and there is a window title bar.

    3. Adjust your preference.
