World Map storm scenarios ending prematurely

Happened twice to me now that the scenario specifically says that the storm shows no signs of subsiding and the next thing that happens is that i am back on the world map with no xp gained.

Thanks for the post, the storm interaction should be fixed for patch 1.1, is this problem still occurring?
