I can't equip the ship room addons

Not sure why but neither the pet pen or the better captain's quarters will work. Doesn't matter which ship either I simply cannot add it.

 

Edit: wait apparently I was able to do it by forcing the item to glitch on the select screen. I can't imagine that's intended because if so that's odd.

This should be fixed for patch 1.1. Are you still experiencing difficulty with this addon problem?

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
