Copying those *.DLL files into the two SYSTEM(32) directories did the trick. I was able to play for a good hour, no crashes.

I moved the BINK2W??.DLL files from the Game-Directory into SYSTEM and SYSTEM32 directories and the game HAS NOT crashed. I made it through character selection and into the first interaction with STAN in his Room and to Press WSAD. Good news!! I will try playing it today and see if the problem goes away. Thanks Gorgon. The APPCRASH is the result of BINK2W32.DLL. There are not multiple copies of the DLL on my system. Only the one copy (32/64 bit) of the DLLs and they are in the same directory as the executable. So there is no problem finding the correct DLL, as there is only one copy and it's clearly loading as the source of the APPCRASH is the DLL in question. FYI: In regards to RAD Tools. They say this on this on their FAQ: http://www.radgametools.com/binkfaq.htm Q: Someone told me to get a new Bink DLL or to download the RAD Video Tools to get a new DLL to fix my game - why doesn't this help? A: Because it's lousy advice. Bink DLLs are NOT replacable! If you copy a different version of the DLL onto another pre-compiled application (like a game), then you are likely to crash. The RAD Video Tools don't even have the Bink DLL built into them, so this will have absolutely no effect. Please contact your game maker for support.

Still no workie, same crash as of March 20th, 2014 2:49pm GMT-8. Verified integrity on Steam before, no patch that I see.

GAME BROKEN, Can't even get 60 seconds into it. APPCRASH with BINKw*.dll .. Please fix!

Still can't play the game. Wonder if I'm just plain screwed.

Sill can't play the game. I bought it from Steam. Right away, it doesn't work. Performs an APPCRASH everytime in the videos. Sometimes I make it to character selection, then crash.. mostly it crashes before I even get there. Talked to CADIUS on Steam on Mar 11 and gave him some crash logs. But haven't heard back. Game is unplayable. Hoping to see an update.

You crash at the logos, trademarks and copyright videos? Yes, I see your "Fault Module Name" is the program's executable and my "Fault Module Name" is "bink2w32.dll" Does look like a different source of the crash. Wish you luck man. I'm going to hang in there, waiting for fixes; the game looks that good.
