  1. I'm in Houston. To be clear: I've contact Ubisoft and got canned responses that were of little help and it was obvious that they did not care. I also spoke to some of your devs and got vague information, promising a patch sometime in the future. Frankly, none of you are of any help. You just simply come off as a bad company. There are a number of people who have reported this problem and we are yet to see any patches to fix it or even get a reasonable estimate for when we may see one. I'm pretty sure the pc has a number of patches now, but I guess those of us on consoles are out of luck.
  2. A number of folks out there have had issues in Clyde's Tower. There's clearly a bug where players can't interact with the leg of the platform when they need to break it. So, basically at 10 or so hours of gameplay, the suggested solution is wait for a bug or start over. Well, I still have yet to see a patch that fixes the bug for Xbox 360. When asking Dev's about the fix, they suggest that there is a fix for PC and to contact Ubisoft. Has anyone tried this? In my experience, it's pretty much like talking to a pre-recorded message. They obviously copy and paste out of transcripts and just mention FAQs and walkthroughs (which is clearly not helpful, since the solution is documented and the hurdle is a bug). When probed enough, they will send you legal documentation that basically states that they will not refund customers for their unfinished product. Has anyone else had any luck whatsoever? I doubt they will even end up pushing a patch by this point, since they've been so good at ignoring the problem so far.
  3. Yeah... Join a bunch of us. The devs are taking their sweet time fixing this bug. I've been waiting since shortly after the game's release. It was reported repeatedly. Sloppy devs and sloppy company.
  4. I did try that route... Just didn't change anything. I'm still awaiting a patch. Pretty much getting over the game.
  5. Feeling your pain. Speaking with the Ubisoft support team is like talking to a recorded voice message... Repeated dialogue and all. It's such a great game... It's just too bad that some of us are stuck with game breaking bugs that ruin it. Not ready for prime time. Hopefully they are taking note of all of these major release problems and coming up with a patch ASAP.
  6. Thanks... Guess I just have to wait until then, but this is pretty disappointing. I don't recall ever running into such a critical bug in any game - it doesn't present a very sound production team. Please send an e-mail to me (via my account info) when it's ready.
  7. This game will be great once it's got enough patches to put in a state that would be ready for actual release. It was clearly not through rigorous testing enough... My game is broken until a patch comes out for Clyde's tower.
  8. Yeah... Still no real response from Ubisoft after contacting support. I don't know if I really want to pump another full run through in, though, when I'm so close to the end already. Hopefully they realize that it is a major bug and fix it quickly.
  9. I will try, but for some reason the time got messed up on my box, so the autosaves are kinda off. I haven't been able to progress so far and have reported it to Ubisoft. No answer as of yet. I've never encountered this in my time of gaming until now. Seems sloppy somehow...
  10. I'm having the EXACT same problem on the XBox 360. Totally ruined my game, too.
  11. I've encountered bug 3 on the Xbox 360 version, but have no backup saves... Definitely was not expecting this issue! I think I'm screwed...
  12. I'm stuck in Clyde's tower and facing a progress stopping bug. On the floor where there are is a Nazi adult, Nazi kid, and some Nazi cat's it appears that you need to destroy the leg of the platform to be able to climb a ladder to advance. The leg, like other breakable object, has orange cracks. When I try to smash the leg with the weapon I hear a sound, but it does not break. I check a walkthrough video on IGN to confirm that this is what the player is supposed to do, and in the video the leg breaks and the platform bends to it's side. I'm not seeing any postings of people having this issue, but I'm surprised this bug has made it's way into the production release. I need help with this bug or I cannot finish the game! 10 hours in!
