  1. Just started my second play through (on difficult setting as oposed to normal)... POSSIBLE SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T GOTTEN 1/4 OR SO THROUGH PERAGUS MINING STATION When I take control of T3 for the first time on Peragus, where he must use a Deadly Sonic mine on the sealed door that contains computer spikes.....well, on the Difficult setting it says his skill is too low to place it. Thus, you are effectively stuck. The only solution is lowering the difficulty to normal, blowing open the door via the mine (skill no longer too low), and then upping it back to difficult. No big deal, but a flaw that should be fixed I think. No other way of going about it....and I dun see how they didn't catch this in beta. Ah wait....there was no beta =)
  2. Just thought I'd shed some light on the issue. This issue was present in KotOR 1 as well, and was resolved with the 1.02 patch. O. E. in all their wisdom, made the exact same mistake in the sequel. As for a remedy...I don't know of one. However if someone should figure out a solution I'm sure alot of people would be grateful. Better then waiting for a patch at this rate. Just FYI, you can GUESS on your responses and go into the Message Log (forget which icon, but its near the bottom of MAP Icon I think) and read what it skipped. However considering you already MADE the choices, its too late anyway. The only resolution I have discoverd is to quicksave before EVERY conversation, and exit the game and reload if it it occurs (however this is not always feasable/possible). Would much rather there be an ini tweak to fix this heh.
  3. What ever happened to starting a product version with 1.0 and going up in .1 increments? Much too confusing with this .0000242 stuff. The devs trying to one up each other on the biggest and most confusing decimal version number I guess (they obviously had lots of spare time for 3 months, none of which was spent working out the pc version bugs as we can all tell). However this might be a sign that they are at least considering a patch..as they worked for 5 minutes on this do nothing one. We can always hope right?
  4. This bug is completley unacceptable. From the original KotOR 1.02 patch fix list: "- Fixed a problem which would cause dialogue to skip through without playing any VO. " This shows the utter lack of testing the release went through. It was a known flaw in the original, and they didn't even bother to look through the original patchlist to make sure the same bugs didn't make it into the sequel, despite the fact that they were using the exact same engine. Way to test Obsidian. Perhaps next time you can ship the title in Alpha form in time for the holiday rush eh? Awaiting a patch for this annoying bug.
