The question of giving tons of licence money to third party sources such as photshop and 3rd Max is irrevelant.There are already superb high quality open source alternatives that have also a huge moding capability.If they wanted they could write mods-extensions-pluggins that are open-Source (Such as blender-gimp-meshlab etc).Meshlab for instance has superb meshing capabilities.I believe they could provide some online videos and some entry /plugin point to the game and you should be adding terrain/creatures/buildings and such.Morrowind had a fully functional modding capabilities for example Anyway ı hope they are felixable when the game comes out about this modding issue.The content could grow exponentioally if they did it actually and there comes the immortality of a game.
