I had ordered an extra copy for a friend and shot him the link last night when he wasn't around. This morning I got an ecstatic message indicating he was pleased with his new game (and describing his joy in ways that were slightly disturbing). Needless to say there are lots of us who are practically passing out from excitement and anticipation for this game!

I think a lot of people are just flush with excitement and don't know what to do with all that energy when they're keyed up for keys that aren't here yet (but will be! I know they will be!). It bursts forth in Forum Rage!

I am avoiding watching twitch or any other streams of the game. I want to experience it fresh and new when I play it for the first time. Oh, sure, I fiddled with the backer beta a bit just to see how things worked, but I never even did the first quest there because I didn't want to ruin all the lovely discovery and surprise. I am so looking forward to this game!

Puns! Because that's what this forum needs right now. Puns. Yeah, I agree. Blowing off Steam is the Key to maintaining calm in a situation where folks are just loaded up with anticipation for the game. Tee hee! This made me snicker.

It's ok. Well this makes perfect sense. Would we rather the steam buyers get to preload before we get to preload tonight, or would we rather everybody have to wait until tomorrow? I know which one I prefer.

Preorder people are only able to preload before us. Not play it before us. I am still sad I can't preload yet. But I might survive.
