Great news. Great work guys. Only yesterday a steam friend was asking about how I'm enjoying the game, all I could tell him was 'well it won't load since the last patch... so, yeah' Still, if this works for me he'll soon enough see me playing Pillars & want to buy his own copy.

I may try giving my game 5 min to load it up, ignoring the windows shut down prompt. Won't be trying this tonight though. Don't have the time for that. Don't worry guys, you are not alone in your futile attempts to load up your 30 hour play through. It's just nice not to be alone in this.

Let me know how this goes. I must have the same issue. I stopped playing a week ago, thought I'd play some Pillars & now I can't load my save games either.
