    recommended schools for programming

    Hi everyone, I'm new to the site. I'm currently an HS student and I've always hoped to eventually become a game programmer. Anyway, I had some (rather basic) questions: 1. What programming languages are normally used? (Ex. C/C++, Java, C#, ...) 2. Which is more important to learn: OpenGL or DirectX/Direct3D (or both?) Thanks in advance for your time.
