I was able to work around this by exiting the keep without entering the main floor (via the exit on the right of the upper floor that led straight to the basement, then out via the moat).

I've had this happen as well. The reputation change doesn't even happen until I zone to the first floor of the keep either. Very odd..

Likewise, have the horn (though wasn't sure that was the issue until seeing this post) and am not regaining focus in battle. I also have the 'sky high' INT (38).

Thanks Celther - appreciate the reply! I wasn't able to get another book to work by reloading, but when I went back into the game today (after restarting the application) I was able to move things okay again.

I inadvertently moved the text window that comes up when you read a book or document in-game. Its now stuck halfway below the bottom of the screen. I can move it farther down unfortunately, but cannot move it back any farther back up, much less to the middle of the screen. I'm running 1920x1080 on Windows if its relevent. Any ideas on a fix for this would be appreciated! An image below is an example:
