Should we try to spread awareness of the backer portal? There is a **** ton of people out there who hate fig, but who be happy to back using paypal. We could try posting it on reddit, and such

How about this scenario?
As an Officer in the Galactic Patrol, you are in pursuit of a deadly GELF terrorist. The GELF flees to the planet Van Buren, where many years ago a colony was started, but all contact was lost, apart from a warning beacon that deteres anyone from approaching the surface. Missiles shoot down both the GELF and [CHARNAME] and they crash onto the planet. Initially assisted by android companion JK-E, [CHARNAME] must track down the GELF (who can also become a companion), resolve the conflict between the surviving transhuman colonists, the pure strain humans, and the artificial intelligence that was originally intended to oversee the terraforming process, and uncover the deadly secret at the heart of the planet - a secret that revels corruption at the heart of the Galactic Patrol itself!!!

Damn. Tough break Obsidian after a really good job on Stick of Truth.
Yeah, pretty much means no sale for me this time around. Obsidian were what made that game great.
I'm hoping for their next kickstarter sometime soon after the first expansion comes out, though. If there will be one

Now that Fallout 4 was announced, what are the chances that a new Fallout from Obsidian to come out?
I really liked New Vegas because of the writing quality and quest/game design.
The fiasco between Bethesda and Obsidian regarding royalties I hope does not impede a future collaboration.
Josh Sawyer stated numerous time he would like to work again to a new Fallout game.

Aye, the fiasco stuff was sort of overblown, far as I remember. Though it would've been nice to see Obsidian have a bigger cashflow it was more of a negotiation issue than anything else. And Bethesda probably knows that most people by now recognize New Vegas as the better of the two games by most peeps.

When you fast travel it would be nice to get attacked at times.
I disagree, considering how resting and stuff works in this game, it'd break iron manning and soloing the way the game is set up right now. Unless you restrict random stuff to like, special areas or something, like with the assassins in Defiance Bay.

Can not believe Kana's winning. He seemed like a fun and interesting person with some depth to him. Optimistic in a dark time without being corny or goofy. Hiravias though I get why he's so high on the list, and he's the guy I voted for. There's just something about his voice acting or possibly direction that just doesn't fit the character being portrayed. Or the character portrayed just does not gel with the game, somehow.

Awesome to hear, and it is still going strong on the top sellers lists. Pretty hopeful that they'll make at least 3-400k in sales over all platforms in the coming week or so, and 500k before the first proper sale, possibly this summer.

I'd guess they don't want this to overshadow any PoE news at the moment since that game is still selling in the top 5 spot on several sites.

As I just hit midnight, only 4 more days technically till the game hits! And I opted for all digital, sort of regretting missing out on the physical manual but I'd only break it like I did the BG one

The music is nice but could do with a bit of oomph in combat and the like. I guess I got spoiled with the heavy brass in BG, NWNs ecstatic stuff and the like.

Well the problem is the art is a 2D asset. You can't scale a 2D asset, it would have to be re-done.
Unless they have much higher res source versions.
Eeesh, yeah, that'd be a real problem. I mean, still hope they can adjust them a tad all the same.

I find them too small as well. The UI is made for 1280x720, which I think is why.
edit: Yep. Fullscreen UI at 720p *rolleyes* THIS IS WHAT IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE ON ALL RESOLUTIONS FFFFFFFFFFFF
Yeah, just a change to make it easier to make out what was going on and expanded like in that window would be good enough for me, really. Well, possibly a SLIGHT enlargening of the item slots, still.

Yeah, don't really want a comparison or anything. But what I'm pondering is, does the inventory slots and such seem a bit small to anyone else, or is it just me? It's mostly just a "feely" thing but items in other RPGs and such feel like they have more weight to them with slightly larger icons. I guess it is also a result of a lot of missing artwork too, but still.
