So basically you want to punish people for using tactics? Btw, the AI does the samething to an extent. Caster never rush forward and let the front line fighters engage and the AI has a very nasty habit of targeting the weakest link if they can get a shot at them

Starting again about mid-way is a common theme for me, sometimes for the same reason as yours.
Honestly, if you're even thinking about it then its best to just make a backup of your current saves and start again, because the temptation will keep gwaning at you. I know how it goes.
Just wanted to add no need to make a back up dsave as you can have multiple games going and each saves under that particular PC name

There is no alignment in this game which is awesome, so Bleak Walkers aren't Evil they just believe in stopping conflict by any means necessary

I've noticed that if you fill your inventory and you try to pick up an item the character makes a comment that "it's too heavy" and it goes to the stash.
I suspect there was an item weight/encumbrance system in the works which later got cut out. I hope it gets added to the expansion and I believe it would make the game more interesting.
NO, the system is fine. You don't have to use the stash if you don't want too.

I was thinking it would be fake recipes, but I'm wonderfully surprised they are actual recipes. After thumbing through the PDF I see one or two I will actually attempt to make.

While Steam offers offline support and I use it myself, but you can't beat GoG in this area

Umm, no. I typically lurk, but felt compelled to post. If Obsidian is smart they will stay away from this idea. ME3 which had these sad ending caused a great deal of backlash.

This. I didn't learn that I missed out on this spear until after I let him go. I like talking my way out of fights with my Cypher. My eventual Bleak Walker play through might play out a bit differently
