So aside from all the bug's their are in the game I'd like to say it looks nice love the graphics, but I was just wondering if godlike are going to be able to use helms or not? seems a little bit unfair to loose out on some of the status gains on a certain helm.

solution to this is to MAKE SURE YOUR MAIN character loots the head. On my second go through i looted it with the dwarf if I moved it to my main character it would disappear. And alot of the weapons seemed to disappear as well sometimes.

if it had more funds my from elsewhere then I am mistaken and i can admit that, Note I'll still be playing the **** out of this game for sure. I thought their could of been a LITTLE more room for tweaks not a complete over haul with the graphics, because when you think about it your character will be clad in a **** ton of armor probs and it still looked good from the camera view. Keep in mind I am def not hating on the game and thank you for the info about Larrian studio's I did not know about that. -

I just thought id bring this up here, and keep in mind I will be playing this but after playing Divine Divinity Original sin and seeing what they did with only 900k and seeing the 4 million spent on this and backed I hope the content is alot longer then Divine Divinity. After seeing the graphics and hearing the Sound track in that game along with the environmental combat say if you casted rain, all the mobs would have wet status and same with your party but you could freeze the mobs alot easier with wet status and ect. If you guys get the chance play Divine divinity original sin if you haven't. ps i love obsidian and the idea bringing back the old BG games but I still have some questions. -
It's probably to late now and I wouldn't want them to pros-pone the game now for it but just a thought for the future If you have the chance cehck out divine divinity and the character models similar in the way of the glossy ness and some of the details, and it was a kickstarter as well that funded less.

I've been looking at most of the upcoming games coming up in kick starter and I have already bought Pillars and backed it of course and while I thought the game play and characters looked fine, I'm left wondering could they have done a bit more to the models and anatomy or the characters. Now this wouldn't need to be a complete overhaul just minor details like the characters Look sometimes a bit stiff on the way they stand. One of the only thing I can give an example and this company yes huge as they may be and successful have the most beautiful 3D characters for this 2D isometric view which is Valve and dota 2. sorry for the lack of grammar ect I'm not to good with writing my thoughts down. but if you play dota 2 and just look at the stances and the animations and the use of color and anatomy it looks very pleasing to the eye.

Monster Question
TreverJohansen replied to TreverJohansen's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
awesome feed back ! one of the things I like about knowing your enemy is making me the (player) feel like im almost apart of the game peerrr say like being a knowledgeable person of the land and knowing when to fight battles or when to hide and run. ex. ahh yes I've encountered ye beast of the same kind a while back in my travels i better stay clear. On the other hand tho its good to NOT know what I'm up against in this game so it gives me the sense of wonder and exploration and curiosity, because sometimes it can be mundane to run into a mindflayer in say another game and you already know that their strong mentally and can usually sometimes charm or one shot your chars if they roll right. So its good to get some different point of views from the community and I would love to see some of the design process's and thinking behind some of the creature of the land! -
This is just a question I was wondering form time to time. I wanted to know what made you guys go from traditional Goblins and Troll's to giving each monster a face lift or to make them your own type. Ex. The lich spider now I'm not to sure if D&D owns the rights to that specific monster, but what about the traditional goblin big nose little and green the thing you would see in Ice wind dale, and what was the leading factor in this decision just copy right claims? any way thanks and Hope to Adventure soon and plunder the lands for Relics of great POWWWAA!
