    It's actually a step back towards 3.5 from what little i've seen of it. I'd call it 3e lite. It really feels more like a mix of AD&D and 3e to me. More like what I'd wished 3e would have been, which is to say an improvement on the mechanics of AD&D without making me feel like I was playing some sort of spreadsheet optimization game.
