  1. Gawd I hope that's just an unfounded rumor... I won't watch any movie that has that stuck up obnoxious brat or her bed buddy Nicole in it
  2. Froste: from the sounds, the new producer is highly pissed off at what was done with the first movie and is treating the second as a whole new project... we will see I suppose
  3. Yeah it was called Dungeones & Dragons the movie... and it sucked, the new producer for D&D the movie #2 is supposedly doing a better job
  4. Didn't they do enough damage with the first movie? They'll have to pay ME to see them screw up a second time
  5. 2005 is supposed to be the first consumer CMPs (cell micro-processors) and multi-core processors. I think these will have a greater impact than 64-bit will, and if CMPs are as good as Sony is bragging, then it may spur a "gold rush" in the computer industry where everyone and their mother is buying a new PC
  6. not true, that's a MAJOR misconception... 64-bit just means more accurate decimals the boost in power is minimal. the power boost you're seeing in 64-bit CPUs is due to the other aspects of the CPU that they've changed, not because of the extra depth of math
