It would be kind of nice if dominate mind could be used to more beneficient ends than the last game, most of the time I just ended up doing things like "I don't need to pay the dock fees" or "You want to give me your wallet" or silencing that one drunk in Tatooine's little tavern. If you wanted to do any "good" persuading you needed persuasion points, that always sort of bugged me.
  2. I would have greatly enjoyed the sight of a drunk Zaalbaar in the last game. I think it would be cool if you could also choose your drink and receive comments from allies or bar patrons like "you have good taste" or "you must have a deathwish if your drinking that god awful reactor runoff."
  3. Oh I have, but most of it has to do with speculation rather than ideas, or this one XboxSith kid or something who speaks as though he's been struck with a shovel in the back of the head whilst at a rave and regained consciousness in the forums with random crap to say about apprentices.
  4. Ay, true that. Still, I wanna know how many would agree/disagree with the idea and if they have anything to add, this being the "Suggestions" forum after all.
  5. Well I can always hope a developer or admin will take a gander at this little post. At the very least they should consider it for the next installment of KOTOR if they ever do it. It's sort of late now to give the attention to story and detail this sort of plot would need if they never really considered it up till now. I can always hope they have though

In responce to Darth_Sirius: Yes, I heard something like that too, but I was thinking something more along the lines of something like 3 or 4 possible apprentice characters that have the potential to become your apprentice regardless of your alignment. Then their personality comes to influence your relationship with them as it melds or clashes with your alignment depending on how your character develops and which apprentice you chose. Then the player can be sympathetic towards an apprentice who is predisposed to the dark side alla Quigon Jin/Anakin, or one where someone dark takes an apprentice for their strength in the force, but have a conscience. Then there's a more peaceful master and eager, agreeable apprentice realtionship. That's what I think anyway.
  7. Yeah, I like the idea. Even more possibilities exist if there are several possible characters with their own unique personalities to choose from to take on as your apprentice. Then you can also have the scenerio of an apprentice noticing your fall to the dark side if you chose a more light aligned apprentice character, or a more dark aligned apprentice growing more and more frustrated with a lack of recognition from you or things not going the way he/she wanted them to. The result of the conflict to be chosen be the player, turning away from the dark side with mercy or towards darkness with torture, or just kill them. Though I think there would be some difficulty in choosing an apprentice from the characters already named since not all of them have force sensitivity I'd imagine, or have experience in the force already.
  8. I may just be a bit hopeful, but wouldn't it be awesome if your character was able to take on an apprentice? Granted the way the leveling system works it would be limited in terms of how to teach an apprentice since you steer the course of their skill development directly, but I think the possibilities of master/apprentice character events are endless. Anyway, give me a reply and tell me what you all think. Also, sorry if this has appeared in forums before, I just don't want to go through the comments from two months ago.
