Hi,
I've really enjoyed Pillars of Eternity and everything has been going great in the game until now.
I'm near the beginning of the White March Part 2 with high level characters (on standard difficulty).
I've been working on the Whispers in the Dark quest and I've made it nearly to the end.
Stop here if you don't want spoilers.
I've spoken with the prisoner about the key found in the nests area at the bottom of the map. I've taken my party into the nest room in search mode.
The Vithrack Crystal is supposed to be in the "pod" farthest from where you enter.
However, my team never finds that there is anything at all hidden in that room and because of that there is no way to open the last door to work on completing this quest. I've checked with a number of walkthroughs just to be sure I didn't miss anything and so far as I can tell I'm in the right spot and doing exactly the right thing to get what I need, but I can't get it to trigger, even if I try walking just one character over in that entire area at a time.
Has anyone else run across this problem before and/or does anyone have any ideas about how to get past this?
I'm sort of a completionist, so I would rather not just give up on the quest due to what appears to be a bug.
If there's no way to force the game to give me what I need, is there an editor that would allow me to add the crystal to my inventory?
Anyway, if there just isn't any good way around this issue, I guess I will abandon the quest, but I'm hoping someone has some ideas that might help.
