  1. From Fallout, to Skyrim, to Pillar's I've had it up to here with dealing with squabbling factions that care for nothing outside their own interests. I'm so glad that they designed an "go it alone" option at the end of this. It's amazing how a Living God doesn't unite these people at all. The Ratuians make the least sense in this game, they hate their own kind just because they are more advanced. The Vallians can only see gold coins, though I do agree they need to advance Animancy. The Principi think they are nobles but are nothing more than pirates. The Huana were the only ones I could stand but even they did exploitation of nature around them.

I tried to show mercy to those idiot Ruatai's but they still show up at Ukaiso wanting to fight.

Bottom right, top right and bottom left. Remember that the quest is rather buggy and the grimoire aren't guaranteed to drop. Best save before you kill the mages.

And the quest ends right there with no new conversation option. Just go ahead and fight Nemnok if you want and you will get a convo option to learn more about him.

Well, turns out the quest is bugged, that swamp witch won't drop her grimoire if she died during transformation :(

I believe this has happened to me as well without knowing she was supposed to drop grimore.

The backer portal still says coming soon for the soundtrack even though it's been on Youtube in it's entirety since the day after the game came out.  When will we be able to download it?

    Check your local game folder.

Hmm.. I've already beaten and uninstalled the game.  Is the music in the installation folder the complete soundtrack and properly tagged?

Yes it's in the install folder and gets deleted when you uninstall the game. You may want to check local folders before deleting games, never know what goodies you may find there.

  4. I think I've been needing this thread.

    Love:

Eder: He's this games version of Minsc, only with a on going story, I love how his side story is tied into the main quest of hunting Eothas.

Aloth: He is my favorite wizard character, plus I enjoying hunting the Leaden key quest.

Serafan: I like this crazy pirate Orlan, he's right decent for pirate types.

Pallengina: I enjoyed meeting her again and having my previous games choices affect her story in this game.

    Mixed feelings:

Xoti: She started out fine but as the story progresses her fanaticism seems just as bad as Durance. Plus she seems to really get off on people dying not just taking care of the already dead. I don't know if that was the developers intention but she has several happy reactions to innocent people being killed that unnerved me.

Maia: She also started out great but her own dedication to her faction and things she is willing to do and overlook makes me not like her so much.

    Dislike:

Teheku: The preening prat reminds me of that bard Her'dalis, so full of himself he'd use the moon as his personal plaything if he could. Then someone had to mention "Sharkboy and Lavagirl" and I hate him more now.

I haven't gotten all the sidekicks but from what has been said they are mostly silent after recruiting them?

I'm assuming you're looking for legitimate ways to earn money, but there is what seems like a completely unintentional way to make as much money as you want in Port Maje.

Sell your highest selling items to the fish vendor.  Then look at the stall behind her.  Everything that you sold her will not be marked for theft, so you can take it all back and sell it again ad nauseum.

Port Maje here I come! XD

I don't think this works anymore, the fish vendor's rack is marked for thieving.

  6. The major problem at the moment is game difficulty.

It is currently just about impossible to die on the hardest difficulty Path of the dammed,

The entire game is a walk over and it needs to be fixed ASAP

IMO the game is broken in its current state due to this and is unplayable

I've died on classical a few times so I don't think it's impossible.

    <Spoiler>

You can find wardstones that make you immune to those effects, but you have to activate them before getting to the pylons that cause them. Also, resting should get rid of it, so if it doesn't I'm guessing it's a bug.

    </Spoiler>

Alright but is it really a spoiler when they ask for a cure in the title of the post?

I think the spoilers are for plot more than mechanics.

  8. Blah. Pass. Do something useful with the DLC instead of trying to flesh out Emo MissGothypants with more cliches and idiocy.

At this point, the only use for the sidekicks is filler because most of the seven companions are inherently factionalized. Unfortunately the class selections of the sidekicks are a problem in making them useful replacements for several companions- priest and paladin choices in particular would have improved their lot immensely.

I've met her in game and she really isn't Goth, more like distracted nerdy girl if you really want to use a cliche descriptor.

  9. I'll not play PoE2 for a few months, but I'm reading a few reviews.

The opinion on the story that got me most worried was Rock Paper Shotgun's on-going review. It said that the main story was too disconnect from every other quest (kinda similar to PoE1 actually). In PoE1 however, it was more forgivable because the main story was you seeking a way to get rid of your soul-awakening. It did not feel very imediate - which was a complaint from a lot of people - but at least it made sense when your character was dealing with a slow-progressing illness and chose to adventure here an there in sidequests.

Now, however, there's a giant god that took your soul stamping cities (apparently) and it just feels weird (according to the review) to be doing anything else besides following that god. This is a very poor story design decision and it god me less excited to play the game :(.

Can anyone who have played the beggining of the game give their thoughts about that?

I think if a God stole my sole and walked away in a giant Adra statue I'd form a better plan then just straight follow him. Anything that gets near the statue dies. Frankly I am loving the hell out of this story and I pity those that can't find that same enjoyment. Not all games are for everyone to enjoy, "Different strokes for different folks" "One mans treasure is another's garbage" and all that.

So i suppose pre order is basically a scum then, Cause i still can't play in broken save game. Well i can and be force 2 restart anyway. Good 2 know. This company getting worse and worse

Don't remember the last time a game released bug free, it's not a "this company" thing, but just how things nowadays are in general.

Bug free is a bit different from not releasing a game which will be unplayable for some players and knowing it. Good one them for taking my money and ruining 2 days at least. Ye and don't expect me 2 actually bother 2 argue with funboys. Also nice 2 know major bugs a now apparently normal. Awful

Your argument would hold more water if your grammar was better. It's ironic that you are complaining about a game company's quality control and you can't be bothered to make a legible post.
