  1. Betrayal at Krondor had a pretty great method for dealing w/ not only healing, but also making sure your party stayed fed. Healing was slow, and often meant having to spend several days resting (which was elapsed in game time in a matter of seconds), and rations were consumed automatically from your inventory whenever you'd rest. Rations could also spoil or rot if left uneaten in your inventory for too long, making your characters lose health instead of heal if they ate them. The day/night cycle was so drastic in visibility, that it really would behoove you to stop and rest in order to sleep until morning. These are some features I think would be interesting in PE.
