I agree this adds so much replayability to games like BG1/2 and I'd hope its a forgone conclusion that this is how it'd work.

The only thing I'm afraid of is that I'm too hyped on a game that doesn't come out for 18months. Although I could wait the rest of my life for a true spiritual successor to baldur's gate 2.
