If Obsidian + Kickstarter = ?

This is out there, and really just a dream of mine. Buy both halves of the rights to the System Shock franchise from EA and Star Insurance and make a System Shock 3! That's what I'd like to see, but it would really just be cool to see you do something with kickstarter.
