  1. Thank you for replying 'PurgedJedi' The cutscene occured and I had found the fifth core, but for some reason the cutscene in the last bomb site didn't show up. I had to load a previous savegame, starting over in the royal palace again, before I could continue on. Maybe it was just a one-time glitch Hey, No Problem.... Good Luck with Nihilus and MTFBWY.
  2. You placed three cores. Did a cutscene occur showing the fourth one exploding prematurely? If it didn't, I hoped you saved your game so that you can start from a point close to where you are now. There is a fifth core that you need to grab to replace the one you lost. Look in the missile bay control room. Hope this helps.
  3. If it really is the video card causing the issue, When was the last time you upgraded your NVidia drivers? Also, you might want to upgrade your DirectX files also. It can also be your sound card. Believe it or not, those can stop a game from running also. Driver updates...... If this still fails, I suggest running the game in a earlier compatibility mode(Im assuming youre running Windows Vista or 7). Hope this helps.
  4. Youre referring to 1B-8D, the droid merchant. Im going to assume you purchased the HK Droid Processor from him. Anyway, ask the merchant about the serving droid and he will sell you the parts he has(including the head) for 25 credits. It's a STEAL! As far as the glitch, Im not sure because by the time I usually go to Onderon, I have Visas and Kreia with me and with three lightsabers flashing, everything pretty much falls around you. Hope this helps.
  5. Is it really fair for you to judge TOR just because it is a MMORPG? Personally, I think this game is going to reinvent the genre. Im just trying to imagine the space on your HDD that is going to be required(all those voice overs for every single NPC you meet.) 10 GB installation, anyone? On the KOTOR 3 discussion, it's not going to happen. TBH, I've gotten tired of playing Star Wars by myself and have played Galaxies(back when it was worth playing), so I know the experience that can be had on a SW themed MMORPG.
  6. Sorta. I was curious why KOTOR 1 was working and not KOTOR 2. I opened up both inis and compared the differences. Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1 was in the swkotor1.ini so I copied that to the KOTOR2 ini and it worked. Googled this entry afterward and found some threads with people having problems in KOTOR1 that were similar to mine and people suggesting adding this line. I guess Steam automatically included the fix in their copy of the game since so many of their users have ATI cards. Yet another reason why everyone should switch over to NVidia. Just saying.
