I've uploaded my kill on Lucus hardcore too for anybodies viewing pleasure: One hell of a fight! Not gunna say how many attempts it took, I blame the fraps lag

I think you'll change your mind if you actually ever try it on Lucas I've played through it with him on hardcore and the fights against these guys were just a complete chore. For me it was just a case of constantly ressing your partner and have them slowly take him down... very slowly. Extra HP won't help you because the problem is that you can't outheal the damage he does. Lucas heals through his dps so stacking attack/will would help a lot more and might make him killable fighting him properly. I had fairly balanced gear though so it just wasn't happening.
