I had an amazing time playing through Grounded 1. Half way through I started playing it with my oldest brother Sal, and countless times we would argue over deaths by the spiders under the giant oak. Obviously we were going to have a blast on Grounded 2. We have an amazing time during the first patch of the second game, die over and over and leave bags all over the map. Hes so terrible at parrying, he would literally shout for me to help everytime he was getting attacked. He soloed a few bosses nonetheless. I skip out on an entire expansion ( i didnt get on for a bit and he beat it without me) and when I come back to playing, my brother literally figured out how build an entire base in the lab which I hated out of jealousy. I told him that I for sure wanted to play the abyss expansion with him and told him to wait a bit before exploring, in the meantime he built me the required armors and items needed to venture it. Unfortunately he passed away from heart complications early September, so I do not get to explore it with him. I will continue to play it and continue the adventure as it was his favorite. I am grateful to the developers for making a game he enjoyed, and I am grateful for all the memories and fun it allowed us to have. He never admitted it but im 1000% sure he was watching grounded 2 videos behind my back to find the secret items and weapons. Thank you for an amazing game and experience <3 Ive never seen him enjoy and commit to a game more. I love him very much and I hope hes resting somewhere where he can still enjoy it. P.s. He left mannequins all over the base we made posing in old armors. Its kind of like hes still hanging out.
