Random Creature Suggestions
As the name implies, just some random suggestions for potential new creatures: Houseflies: While Gnats are already in the game I'd like to see true flies. I imagine they'd be neutral and about the size of bees Black Horsefly (boss): Large aggressive fly, can have a Lord of the Flies/Beelzebub vibe to it commanding hordes of gnats or such Maggots: To go with Houseflies and Botflies, could see these being essentially aggressive grubs especially in large numbers Triops: Also known as tadpole shrimp they're freshwater crustaceans that resemble horseshoe crabs. They are omnivorous and mainly found scratching the mud on the bottom of aquatic environments, while omnivorous they'll eat anything organic in nature to the point where they have no issue cannibalizing smaller individuals Apple Snail: Large freshwater snails, although they're non-native to the US and considered invasive species and tend to devastate native aquatic plants, still would add more variety to the aquatic environments Giant Water Bug (boss): Also known as toe biters the predatory aquatic bugs are also among some of the largest insects in the world with some of them growing almost as large as some of the largest beetles. Male specimens will also carry eggs in their backs Solifugid: Also known as Camel Spiders they are arachnids native to dry environments and known for people exaggerating their size, aggression, and speed, although they are indeed relatively fast and will consume anything they can catch with some of the larger species even preying on lizards and small mammals, as such these could work both as a regular bug (smaller variants) and a boss (larger variant) Mole Cricket: Fossorial insects found in many parts of the world and occasionally pests. Depending on the species mole crickets can be herbivorous, omnivorous, or predatory, so in-game they'd be best off as neutral. Naturally they'd be found only in subterranean areas Mole (boss): Subterranean omnivorous mammals, moles have toxins in their saliva used to paralyze earthworms but they'll prey on a variety of small invertebrates. Could see this being akin to the Ultracite Titan boss fight in Fallout 76 where only the upper portion of the mole emerges from the ground for the fight and such. Since moles also create "larders" where they store prey that's often still alive it could add for some creepy moments with the players stumbling upon such larder in the mole's den

Random Suggestions
First time posting here so just dropping by some random suggestions for the game: - A Healer/Support class. Considering the game has leaned more towards RPG class archetypes it only makes sense that a Healer class should be added with it overall boosting healing effects, naturally could also see it having offensive capabilities by also focusing on debuffs/status effects (think World of Warcraft's Affliction Warlocks) and boosting the overall effects of poison and disease damage. - Alternate costumes and hairstyles. Since the game doesn't feature the option of creating one's character from scratch the best way to add variety would be to add alternate outfits and hairstyles for the teens especially since the 90's had some unique fashion trends. These would be unlockables/found outfits that once obtained players could switch via a new locker furniture piece or such. - A return of the Mant. The Mant was a rather unique addition to the first Grounded game even if the reward/mutation obtained from it wasn't particularly useful. They could be a returning boss, or come to think of it what if there were playable Mants? Not as in literally but perhaps rather than obtaining a Mutation that summons a Mant what if there was a rare mutation that allowed players to temporarily transform into a Mant or Mant-like form? Perhaps if the player is at low health said mutation has a chance to temporarily mutate the player into a Mant-like insect hybrid, granting a brief burst of health and stat increases and allowing them to just go Hulk and bash their targets with their hands for a brief moment before returning to normal (think Skyrim's Vampire Lord and Werewolf forms). Could even make it more unique by having each teen have their own unique insect hybrid form, albeit they would all share the same stats, abilities, and skeleton and to prevent issues with tight areas and such the forms would be slightly larger than the teens instead of as big as the original Mant. Max could have the actual Mant, Hoops a wasp-like one, Pete a beetle-like one, and Willow a spider-like one. It could also double as a nod to Power Rangers or Big Bad Beetleborgs as each insect hybrid would have their own color (Max red ant, Hoops yellow wasp, Pete blue beetle, and Willow purple spider) - A Toad boss. The first game had a reference to Battletoads, we should get an actual toad this time around, perhaps it could also have some Battletoad refs such as the gear created from it's drops referencing them
