But if i chop a pumpkin and/or get the crimson reapers then the save made after that won't load. Just sits perpetually trying to load that save. So basically if i avoid interacting with any of the new content, it seems to work fine.

It's the leprechaun candy. If i chop a leprechaun candy it glitches the save.

When the last update hit i got on my game and played numerous hours with multiple saves throughout. Now though the only daves it will load is the ones from before the update. I have tried deleting all the newer saves and beginning from before the update but after logging out it won't load any newer saves again. I've tried turning the connection offline then online as suggested in other posts but no good.
