During the quest "Forbidden Secrets of the Undisputed Claim"
1) First Playthrough I took Scientist as my background and Witty as one of my starting traits. I was easily able to convince him to talk to me and get the tape.
2) Second Playthough: Lawbringer, without WItty but with the perks Negotiator, Charlatan, Tall Tale Teller, Keen Observer, Space Ranger and the Sickly Flaw, he tells me "nice try" and that locks the quest. I took every dialogue option offered and reloaded more than once with the same result.
This needs to be looked into and altered to allow more options to successfully update the quest.
