Hello. My name is Gared, and I'm a student at Boise State University in the Mursing program. I am currently taking an ethics class. For this class, our final is a research paper. I want to tie it to video games, as they have had a significant influence on my life. For this paper, I would like to interview a developer on your team. The paper/interview will explore how the design of choices, rewards, and storylines can influence a player’s virtues (such as honesty, courage, compassion, or temperance) — or perhaps encourage vices (selfishness, greed, aggression). At Oblivion, you make exceptional games that are focused on storytelling and player choices. Your games ask players to make choices that pull at players' ethical foundations, which is why I want to interview someone from Obsidian. This interview will be purely for academic purposes.
